The company

Our company was founded in the '30s, founded by Matteo Paladino, a tenacious man who is among the first to recognize the potential of the wine market and used his knowledge in the agricultural and entrepreneurial field to create the foundations. Her love for the vineyard passed on to her son Paolo, who continues to invest time and energy in the development of the activity. Currently Matteo Paladino, grandson of the founder, follows in his father's footsteps and represents the third generation. Given the start of production on its own, the wear and tear of the supply chain, from the cultivation of grapes to the day of work, supported by a staff of complete professionals specialized in the sector. The Company, located in Western Sicily, in the province of Trapani, the most vine of Italy, in an area between Petrosino, Mazara del Vallo and Salemi, covers an area of about 40 hectares. Alongside the traditionally autochthonous cultivars such as Nero d'Avola, Grillo, Grecanico, Inzolia, Moscato Bianco and Zibibbo, "international" varieties are bred as Merlot, Sirah and Chardonnay that have found thmost suitable terroir for their geological adaptation. Today we are committed to producin quality wines that meet the  evolving tastes of the consumer.

The philosophy

With dedication and a lot of work Matteo Paladino the '30s laid the foundations that allowed the birth of this company, succeeding in creating step by step a wine tradition that continues until today and it is thanks to him that valuesuch as family
and land are still well established in our business. Our generation has big projects, focused on the production of quality wines and the development in foreign markets. Our philosophy aims to produce a wine of excellence that encompasses the inspiration of the land to which it belongs .

The organic

Our company, already for several years, respects all the technical standards contained in the regulation 2092/91, and is alreadcertified by the control body (Bioagricert) authorized by the Ministry of Forestry Agricultural Policies. Bioagricert performs direct controls in companies to certify organic products. The soil fertility is maintained with the cultivation of legumes such as: favino, on, and Alexandrian clover. For the fight against weeds and diseases we operate as follows:
- choices of suitable species and varieties in company rotation;
- mechanical cultivation;
- elimination of bad herbs by burning (or piro-weeding);
- propagation material and seeds come from organic farming and obtained without the use of genetically modified organisms;
- for the fight against downy mildew, copper based formulas are used, the only active ingredient permitted by Reg. EEC  2092/91;
- for the oil the sulfur is used in both powder and colloidal.
